Veronica Vera

Licensed Professional Counselor
Alternate languages: Spanish
My name is Veronica Vera, and for the past nine years I have had the privilege of serving Texans as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I provide counseling in both English and Spanish, working with individuals of all ages. My approach is eclectic, drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities to best meet each person’s unique emotional experiences and needs. Above all, I believe that meaningful progress begins with an authentic therapeutic alliance built on trust and respect.
What distinguishes me as a counselor is the combination of my professional training, clinical experience, and deeply personal life journey. Having endured profound losses—losing a sibling in childhood, my father during my teenage years, and later my husband and mother in adulthood—I have come to know grief intimately. Alongside these experiences were many other losses of hopes, dreams, and goals. Through them, I discovered that grief is both a courageous passage through pain and a transformative process that fosters personal growth and self-discovery.
These experiences have sharpened my ability to connect with others on an emotional level, to understand their feelings, and to respond with compassion and empathy. My therapeutic approach reflects this: a creative and intuitive process that honors the natural flow of healing while helping clients find hope in the midst of grief.
It would be my privilege to walk alongside you in your own journey toward healing.
