Hi, I’m Steal, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families across Texas. I specialize in treating anxiety, trauma, OCD, grief, depression, insomnia, ADHD, and relationship challenges for children, teens, and adults. My approach is collaborative and flexible, using evidence-based methods like CBT, ACT, exposure therapy, and play therapy—tailored to your unique needs.
People often come to me feeling stuck or overwhelmed—and one of the most rewarding parts of my work is seeing people find hope and change they didn’t think was possible. I believe real healing starts when we face what’s unknown, together. Grief, in particular, has shaped my perspective in profound ways. I never knew my biological mother, spent time in foster care, and lost my father while in college. These experiences taught me that healing looks different for everyone—and that’s okay.
My background includes co-authoring two peer-reviewed psychology articles, one of which I presented at the 2022 Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA) conference in Denver. I occasionally peer review psychology manuscripts to keep my clinical thinking sharp. Outside therapy, I’m a lifelong learner and artist. I enjoy exploring topics like quantum physics and philosophy, especially consciousness, existentialism, ethics, and the nature of dreams.
If you’re unsure about therapy, that’s completely understandable. I truly believe that almost anyone can grow into their best self if they’re open to the process. I’d be honored to help you begin that journey, and I look forward to our first session.
