Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
Before I began my journey as a clinician, I experienced what an impact therapy could make in my own life. I know how nerve-racking it is to take those first steps to reach out and begin to make a change.
I believe in an integrative approach to therapy since each person and situation is unique. I’m passionate about empowering you to not only see the strengths that you already have but how they can be applied in new ways. I began my work with veterans and their families transitioning back to life at home. From there, I changed focus and worked with foster kids as they worked through grief, trauma and settled into homes or were reunited with their families. I saw how important each piece of a family system is to create a healthy family.
We all experience grief and what fueled my desire to work with those grieving was my own. Grief became deeply personal for me when I went through a divorce. With that came the realization that it doesn’t come when we are ready for it and that it has a ripple effect over every aspect of our lives. What we do in those moments can take a moment of devastation and turn it into a moment of healing. It doesn’t stop us from experiencing the depths of it but rather empowers us as we find our way through it.
For the past year, I’ve been working with those struggling to find their way through a time none of us saw coming.
I enjoy helping couples, families, kids, and clients of all ages. I find myself the most passionate about those moments in time where someone realizes they are ready to impact change and that it’s time to get the tools to do so. I truly feel that it is an honor when a client trusts me with their journey and their story. When I’m invited to work alongside you to help you get to a better tomorrow.
