Licensed Psychologist

Certifications and/or training: Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)

As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, my goal is to support clients in understanding the impact of a variety of stressors and support them towards growth and healing. It is also important to me that the clients I work with feel seen and hopeful about their healing journey and that I create a space for them to explore their feelings in an open and non-judgement manner.

My own experiences of grief and loss remind me that whether you are navigating the loss of a loved one or challenging transition in your life, grief can be a continuum of ups and downs and can look different for each person. My background includes supporting individuals in trauma recovery, emotion regulation, grief and loss and the day-to-day challenges we face in life. While I tend to use a variety of techniques to support my clients including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to name a few, it is important that the interventions I use feel tailored to my clients’ unique needs. I also find it helpful to explore and understand how various systems and identities shape one’s feelings and experiences of the world.

In my role as a psychological assessor, I have extensive skills in assessing cognitive, developmental, academic, emotional and behavioral concerns in children (6+), adolescents and adults (18-65). I also have experience assessing for substance use and severe mental illness. My values are to help you feel empowered and gain insight into your psychological distress in the most collaborative way; while helping you learn ways to make your life feel centered.

It is my hope that as you take the next step in your journey, be it in therapy or psychological assessment, or both, that you feel you do not need to take it alone.
