Anna Garza

Licensed Clinical Social Worker
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with years of experience supporting adolescents, adults, families, couples, and groups through a wide range of emotional and life challenges. My clinical work focuses on trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, PTSD, communication skills, and life transitions. I became a therapist to help eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health and to walk alongside people in their moments of need, offering compassion, clarity, and steady support.
My therapeutic approach is warm, conversational, and empowering. I draw from trauma-informed care and integrate CBT, DBT-informed practices, solution-focused therapy, person-centered therapy, and psychodynamic approaches. I believe in meeting clients where they are, honoring their strengths, and collaborating to build meaningful change.
Across my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with adolescents and adults in diverse settings, including schools—where I facilitated peer support groups—and psychiatric care. I have also worked extensively with LGBTQIA clients, individuals experiencing homelessness, and immigrant and refugee communities. These experiences have shaped my commitment to providing inclusive, culturally responsive, and affirming care.
My goal in therapy is to create a space where clients feel seen, safe, and supported as they navigate their unique journeys toward healing and growth.
