Licensed Clinical Social Worker

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I bring over 10 years of clinical experience providing therapy to adolescents and adults in both individual and group settings, along with 20 years of supporting individuals and families through crisis, major life transitions, serious illness, and end-of-life care. I am a Certified Trauma Competent Professional (CTCP) and an Anger Management Certified therapist.

One area I am especially passionate about is supporting individuals experiencing grief and loss. Throughout my career, I have walked alongside individuals and families facing the end-of-life journey, providing emotional support as they anticipated and experienced the loss of a loved one. In addition to end-of-life care, I have worked with many clients grieving losses that are less visible but equally life-changing, including the end of relationships, divorce, the loss of employment, changes in health, infertility, military transitions, trauma, loss of identity, and letting go of unhealthy behaviors, addictions, or lifestyles that no longer serve them.

I have learned that grief extends far beyond death. Any significant change that alters a person’s sense of identity, stability, or future can create a grieving process. Understanding what grief is, recognizing the many ways it presents, and identifying how it impacts a person’s emotions, thoughts, relationships, and daily functioning is imperative to the healing journey. Grief often affects motivation, concentration, sleep, routines, self-esteem, and one’s ability to engage in everyday life.

I approach grief with compassion, patience, and curiosity, recognizing that every person’s experience is unique. Together, we create a safe, supportive space to process difficult emotions, understand how grief is affecting your thoughts, behaviors, and daily life, develop healthy coping strategies, and gradually rebuild a sense of purpose at a pace that feels right for you. Rather than placing expectations or timelines on healing, I meet you where you are, helping you honor what has been lost while discovering hope and resilience for the future. My goal is for you to feel seen, understood, and supported without judgment or pressure.

In addition to grief and bereavement, I specialize in helping teenagers and adults navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, substance use challenges, anger management, and crisis recovery. My therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy to help clients better understand themselves, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Whether you are coping with the loss of someone you love, adjusting to a major life transition, healing from trauma, or managing anxiety or depression, you do not have to face it alone. I strive to create a therapeutic relationship where you feel safe, heard, respected, and empowered as we work together toward healing, resilience, and a more fulfilling life.
