Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist

Hi, I’m Le’Aja Williams and I’m really glad you’re here, even if finding your way to this page wasn’t easy.

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and my work is rooted in one simple belief: healing happens when you feel truly safe. That means no judgment, no pressure to have it all figured out, and no rush. Whether you’re carrying grief, navigating a rough patch in a relationship, working through anxiety or depression, struggling with addiction, or just trying to make sense of a season of life that doesn’t make sense yet, you don’t have to go through it alone.

Over the years I’ve worked across mental health centers, outpatient clinics, private practice, and family preservation services. I’ve sat with individuals, couples, and families through loss, trauma, addiction, emotional disconnection, and some of life’s hardest transitions. That breadth of experience shapes how I show up, with a lot of compassion, a lot of flexibility, and a deep respect for the fact that no two people’s journeys look the same.

Grief in particular is something I understand not just professionally but personally. Two years ago, I lost my mother, and I know firsthand how isolating and disorienting that kind of loss can be. Before that, as a military spouse, I supported my husband and friends through the loss of fallen service members, military separation, divorce, and the anxiety related to career advancement. I’ve also guided my own children through the losses that come with military life, friendships left behind, communities rebuilt from scratch, and the quiet grief of always being the “new family.” Those experiences didn’t just shape my empathy; they shaped my conviction that everyone deserves a space where their pain is taken seriously.

My approach is warm and collaborative, while utilizing evidence-based approaches to guide the therapeutic experience. I’m not here to hand you a list of strategies and send you on your way. I want to walk alongside you. Together, we’ll work at a pace that feels right for you, building real coping skills, strengthening your relationships, and moving toward changes that actually last.
