Kenneth Crawford

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

A warm greeting to you, I’m Ken Crawford, a licensed psychotherapist with a passion for helping people. We all experience moments of highs and lows and from time to time there may be a need to partner with someone to help navigate the valleys of life. I am here to provide a listening ear, a compassionate heart, and a learned mind to motivate, coach, and empower you to persevere hardships and overcome challenges.

My therapeutic style is personable, inquisitive, and engaging. I am not opposed to using humor when appropriate and feel therapy is a far richer experience when there is collaboration throughout. I am experienced with working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I use several different therapeutic approaches including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), emotionally focused therapy (EFT), emotionally focused family therapy (EFFT), and mentalization based therapy (MBT).

My clinical experience started with me facilitating psychoeducational groups of adolescents in the community with trauma history. I later transitioned to individual and family therapy at a day treatment for clients expelled from middle school. Afterwards, I headed two specialty court programs (a co-occurring mental health court for adults and a veteran’s court) which offered alternatives to jailtime. My most recent role is as a staff social worker performing individual, parent, and family sessions at an inpatient facility for youth ages 12 to 17.
