Kelsea Grant

Licensed Professional Counselor

For many, therapy may be the first time that we put our truest selves out on display. It can be intimidating to verbalize our deepest thoughts, hopes, fears, and needs that we’ve held in for so long. I’ve been there before and understand how frightening these first few steps can be. But that’s where our work begins – my goal is to make a safe space for you. I enjoy breaking the stigma of seeking help while being both genuine and empowering. Furthermore, I love connecting on a level that is relatable, thought-provoking, and energizing.

I don’t find it scary to talk about the hard stuff. My style involves putting our heads together and examining your world in an open and non-condemning way. I feel it is essential to honor the uniqueness of your life, so I like to approach treatment in the same way. I believe the pathway to healing should include joy, so I love to share laughs and highlight your wins as you discover yourself.

My clinical interests include working through generalized and high-functioning depression and anxiety, grief, life transitions, coming of age issues, self-esteem, personal growth, spiritual counseling, relationship issues, building assertiveness, childhood trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, social justice issues, and school issues.

When it comes to grief and loss, arguably the most difficult aspect is accepting that whom or what we long for is no longer there. I specialize in working through the broken bonds of familial, intimate, and platonic relationships as well as grieving perceived failures. I understand on a very personal level how painful these kinds of losses can be, so I strive to equip you with the best tools and resources to continue showing up for your life.

Sometimes, all we need is one person to help us make that change. If you’re ready to put the work in, I’d love to be that person for you.
