Licensed Professional Counselor
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas. I chose to work in mental healthcare after serving in the military (Iraqi Freedom). I gained 12 years of experience working in mental health at hospitals, following which I decided to pursue a career as a therapist.
I encourage all my clients to not hold back when speaking to me. I enjoy having honest conversations with every person I encounter. This allows me to understand the person on every level possible. I understand that there are things that are hard to talk through and the emotions behind them are very important. I provide therapy for many circumstances including both chronic and acute trauma, anxiety, grief and post-traumatic stress disorder.
Outside of work, I enjoy outdoor activities and love to travel. I am also a recreational gamer. Traveling has allowed me to encounter and speak to people of many backgrounds. I am a well-rounded person and understand different perspectives that could be out there.
